What is The Perfect Time to Pray to God?

Anytime of the day is good to pray. However, there are certain specific moments that seem best for you to pray in course of the day. Here I try to explain the times of the day and moments that prayer happens to be highly important and effective.
1)  When you wake up
Let praying be your very first activity when you wake up. Give thanks for God’s protection through the night and for the gift of life this new day. Pray for provision of necessities, guidance and protection throughout the day.

2) Before your meals
Say a short prayer before you start enjoying your meals. Thank Him for provision of these meals. Ask Him to protect you from any dangerous material that could be hidden in the meals and can deteriorate your health. Then, pray Him to provide food for those who don’t have.

3) Before starting a journey
Always say a prayer before departing for a journey. Pray for protection and safety throughout your journey. Ask Him to lead and be with you through the way to your destination.

4) After arriving at your destination
When you arrive where you were going, say a short ‘thank you’ prayer to show appreciation for the safe journey well led by Him. Ask for guidance and protection thereafter.

5) After every good deed/achievement
When you realize that God has done something good in your life, say a prayer to thank Him. Also, when you achieve some set goals, it’s good to thank Him and pray that He guides you to use or share your achievements with the needy.

6) In times of trouble
In case you experience some problems in your life (which we cannot evade), kneel before Him and pray that He helps you to come out of these troubles. Pray Him to guide you on how to do away with the issues in your life. Ask Him to wash away your tears and troubles; He Will.

7) When you have a test ahead
Pray God to eliminate your fears and help you to remember what you learnt so that you can pass the test. Ask Him to guide and be with you as you do the test.

8) When you witness His blessings
Always make time to thank the Most High for the blessings He has showered to you. You can invite your friends and family to pray with you in a thanks-giving ceremony and share your testimony with them. Remember to share your blessings with other people who might be in need of the same.

9) When you have sinned
If you realize that you have gone against God’s commandments, kneel down and repent your sins. God will forgive your sins and you will be able to progress better in life. You feel relieved believing that your sins are forgiven. Remember to prevent yourself from repeating the same sins again!

10) When going to sleep
This is another perfect time to pray. Give thanks for the day well gone. Thank Him for His protection, provision and guidance during the day. Pray God to protect you from all evils and dangers during the night as you sleep.

11) Anytime
Any time of the day is good enough for you to pray. Pray to thank Him for good deeds that He has done for you since birth. Pray for provision of food, shelter and other necessities. Pray for guidance and protection throughout your life. Pray for everything and the Lord is always ready to listen. Remember, God answers prayers in three ways. He can tell you:
  • No.
  • Not now, wait.
  • Ok, wish granted!
What you need to do is pray righteously. Don’t pray for bad things to happen to your enemies, be positive. Instead, you can pray for them to change. Pray something you really need and God will grant you your prayer.
